Had my 75th birthday here Friday 29th March. 11 of us aged from 7 to 75 all thought lovely food good portions and good value. We sat at a large round table which was perfect. Staff were very good especially the girl who took my booking and served us. Sorry didn't get your name.

On behalf of Carol and Geoff, would like to thank all the staff at Oliver’s who helped make our day so special. Fabulous food, fantastic service and amazing hosting. Would definitely recommend for any family celebration.

First visit here despite driving past numerous times. We had paté, mushroom ciabatta and garlic bread starters. Then roast dinner, lasagne and fish and chips for mains. Absolutely delicious food and great service. All reasonably priced. Would highly recommend

Eight of us dined there on Sunday 11th Feb 2024The whole experience was faultless. Eight of us were very satisfied and will be eating there again. The ambience, service and food quality were 10/10, and no silly prices either. Well done Oliver’s.

Lovely restaurant, attentive waitress. We had a large table for a birthday, the restaurant was quiet. All the food was lovely and the bill was substantial as it is a bit pricey for what it is, however it is independently owned. An issue with one of the meals was addressed by replacing the meal with something different, however when we got the bill, the meal was still on there. I asked for it to be removed to be told I would need to pay for the other meal I ordered. Had I know this was to be the case I wouldn't have ordered another meal as I ate on my own as everyone else had finished their food. The replacement meal was also not nice (pork) was told it had been vacuum packed and cooked for 10 hours, however the pancetta was soggy and the flavour wasn't great. Was told 2 meals had been cooked for me so therefore I needed to pay for one of them. I was a bit put out as I would have never had to do this anywhere else, especially a chain restaurant. It's a shame that this issue will stop us from returning, which is unfortunate. All the rest of the food was lovely, especially the bruschetta. The waitress was great and attentive, so thank you. The owner is a nice guy to, just annoying that the issue was not resolved, which is a shame.

Some of our party did enjoy their meals but mine was was cold. I didn't ask for it to be heated up because it was chicken and it would dry up and I hate eating when everyone else has finished. We didn't feel like the staff were very attentive.

Had a lovely meal here recently. Great food, great service and very nicely priced. Would recommend highly.

Came here for lunch Sunday roast! 3 courses for £20 so was no brainer! The lamb and beef roast was appetising and full of flavour. Also ordered a nice fruity mocktail which was excellent! Brownie and apple crumble for dessert was nicer than I thought it would be. Rich and creamy for both. Staff were somewhat attentive, it was difficult to grab their attention when we wanted to order more food/drinks...

Faultless! Went for Michael Bublé tribute evening and only found out when they started serving that it was a set menu.. a worry for someone Vegan . The Waiter clearly looked shell-shocked (bless him) but went off to speak to the Kitchen. What came back was nothing short of a miracle - THE best Mushroom 🍄 Risotto that tasted better than original version AND I got Vegan assorted 🍨 Ice-Cream?! The av. person can't comprehend that joy because you can eat or drink everything but when you have to take out Milk & Meat the world becomes very small. I'd 💯 recommend this place - it's not exactly close to Liverpool but I'd definitely repeat the journey for the Staff alone, who were all wonderful. Beautiful restaurant and lovely food 😊. We though the lunch menu would be a bit less impressive, as it was 3 courses at a great price. But as you can see the food was amazing! Also the lady who served us was really friendly, will definitely visit again thanks 😊
