I have used Warrington Door Stripping for the past three years and can honestly say that I have never been disappointed. They are always happy to adapt their service to meet my needs, even when that means coming out after hours or on weekends. Their prices are also competitive and I couldn't be happier with my experience.

I am concerned about this company called Warrington Door Stripping based at Riverside Trading Estate, Unit 5C Station Rd, Penketh, WA5 2UL. I've been dealing with them for the last 2 months while they have been stripping paint from 4 old pine doors. I live in Newcastle and wanted to use a local service but this company blatantly lied to me. They insist they have a workshop at Newburn in Newcastle but they repeatedly refused to give me the address. (They have no site at Newburn). They push hard for cash and it was only when I insisted no cash they produced a card machine. They did not want to provide any paperwork and again when I insisted I saw Warrington on the receipt. Warrington? I thought. They charge £30 basic paint strip rising up to £75 full strip, sand, wax service. I paid the top price but my doors came back in a terrible state. All 4 doors will have to be done again. God knows what process they are using. The last door delivered to me wasn't even mine - yet they wanted me to keep it. When I asked for a refund in cash (I dont trust them with my bank details) they said no cash refunds - despite only dealing in cash and allegedly being local. No one at the company has a name and no one knows anything. I believe their Google reviews are fake. When I said I was reporting them to Trading Standards they replied "no problem". Dodgy.

Second time I have used this firm. Great results, properly dipped, sanded and oiled. Doors look great, excellent collection and drop off with good communication throughout. Thank you.

Doors picked up from home after a couple of days of getting in touch, even through Covid-19 while keeping social distancing. Expert advice to go with sanding rather than dipping as we wanted to oil the doors after. Returned doors after a week as promised - excellent service, highly recommend. Thank you.

Four dark-stained 1920s dining chairs painstakingly hand stripped to reveal beautiful light oak family heirlooms. Family are thrilled with the results, even better than we had hoped. Dears Sirs A representative of your company came & took 5 out of 6 doors from my property on 06/12/2017 to be dipped/stripped. The 6th door he left in situ stating he would be back later that day for it. He said he would come with more suitable tools to take it down & also take it away to be dipped/stripped. He has never been back. I have called your company & left a voicemail. I am still awaiting some sort of communication from you. I was told I would have all my doors back within the week. But I have not been given any indication of the return of my doors & still waiting for the 6th door to be removed & dipped/stripped. I look forward to your response. Regards Mrs Wallace

I am a returning customer, I previously had some doors stripped which came back full of life and looking immaculate. I have since had my garden table and chairs stripped, once again I am thrilled with the result and the quality in customer service was out standing, I can now sit and enjoy the sun with friends in my garden with furniture I am proud of!
